Artist's Comments

Due to the recent harassment I've been getting from a certain little kiddie who thinks it's funny to comment on deviations/art works of others and say horrible things about it/their beliefs/likes..etc. I've made a stamp.

HARASSMENT should not be on here. AT ALL. In the words of my friend :iconschellen:, people come on here and feel safe.. and it should STAY that way. Not get upset/be upset or be harassed by a little kid or some other jerk because of what like, what they believe in or even if the person got the *bad* person banned for something.

This is an ART site. Not a game, such as, Gaiaonline, RuneScape, Furcadia..etc. This is not a chat/instant messenger like AIM, Yahoo and MSN. This is not a blog/networking site like Myspace, Facebook, LiveJournal..etc.

This is for...Art. Plain and simple.

If you want to use the stamp in your journal and you want to use the Thumbnail Trick..

See on the right side of the Author's Comments in this Deviation? There's something called Thumb.

Copy and paste what's in the box (which should be :thumb#: # = number that's after the thumb) in either the Header, Footer, or in the journal entry itself.

You must have a subscription in order to do so. See DeviantArt Faqs for further details.

I fully support this! I've been insulted a lot for liking Harry Potter, and I just don't get why artists, supposedly some of the most open-minded people, are insulting people for liking a certain art style / anything they enjoy. :no:

Dude, that's lame. Even if I saw an artist *randomly or that I watch* do work that has something to do with what I don't like.. I either.. don't comment.. or I say something nice about it. Like this one artist did some stuff on Inuyasha and Naruto and I don't like Inuyasha and the character Naruto I don't like.. but the work was really good so I just stated.. "I don't even like "insert name in here" but your work of it is really good!"

It's just common courtesy, that's all.

I just find it odd that people feel the need to insult others for liking/drawing something they don't like. It's not like it's gaining them anything; it's pointless and only proves that they've got nothing better to do. :shrug:
